I have been looking around a little bit and have not been very successful. I am trying to determine what color the uynder sode of these era funny car bodies should be painted? I have thought just a shade of primer, but have not found any info or pics to lead me to think I may be correct.
Any light anyone can shed on this subject is appreciated.....

Len,
the underside color varied as much as the cars did. some painted it base color of the car others painted it black and still others left it bare (gel coat finish). I hope this helps...

This site has alot of pics...some with the bodies up...maybe you can find something.

Like TX said...when I was doing my Jungle Jim car he had that thing painted a bunch of different ways.
