I just got a can of Model Master Dark Cherry Pearl lacquer. It will go on a 55 Chevy street machine. What do you guys recommend for primer and under coat to best bring out the pearl effect?

Also, I'm guessing that the best under coats would vary with the top coat color?

With that color use white or a bright silver, this Z012has a grey primer with a dark silver base...I don't care for it as the pearl only POPS outside B)

I'm With Led On This One, IMHO A Nice Bright Chrome Is The Best Base For Pearls. Silvers Work Too But The Chrome Just Seems To Give It More Depth And A Nice Pop <_<

I've got a can of DupliColor chrome, but it is an enamel. The Black Cherry is lacquer. Any suggestions?
