I've got one of AMT's 86 SS-Choo Choo Customs versions ready and waiting to be started, and I am not sure of something...Should the nose be molded in, or should the lines where the seperate nose piece attaches be left? IE, was there a panel line there in 1:1?
All my refrences are for pre-73 models!

Leave the lines there, Billy. Choo Choo Customs removed the factory front facade and installed the Monte Carlo-like nosepiece. BTW, the nose piece did NOT interchange with a Monte. They looked the same but were a different size.

There's one about 5 minutes from me if you need any pics, Billy; I've been looking for a reason to stop at the guy's house, as he has an old fenderless hot rod pickup I've been dying to see up close.
Email me if you need any pics.
