asheville area here... are there any clubs or shows goin on around here, 'cause i cant find nothin. Also does anyone know of any good shops around or near Asheville

I live in the Hendersonville area and belong to the Western Carolina model club, we meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at the great american hobbies on tunnel rd... i am also a member and secretary of the SCMA (South Carolina Modelers Asso.) we meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to whenever we meet at the great escape hobby shop in Spartanburg...the hobby shop is a fully stocked hobby shop with aftermarket stuff available.... as for shows the Atlanta southern NNL is November 12th in Smyrna Ga. The Hope it dont snow show in Janurary put on by the SCMA.. attached you will find links to the various sites that have all the pertinent info....

Oh thanks so much Tom. Its very possible that you might see me at american hobbies, I know exactly where it is, If I can get off from work.. What exactly goes on at the club meets anyways..

Wow, I grew up partly in Raeford! Small world.raeford here right near fayetteville and looking for a modeling club uif you guys know any in this area. thanks all.

BTW, who's this "modeler/alarmman", because I'm a modeler and work in the alarm industry too. I'm thinking either I have a new buddy or a split personality...not sure which yet!
