I just did the body for this gunze sangyo 56 beetle and mocked it up.
I do not have the chassis done so the rear has way to much camber.
It will sit as low as possible and will have a similar rear camber look.
It's only a curb side.
Hope to have chassis done this weekend.

hey, so far so good, lookin forward to further progress, i like the paint.

just what id do, just me talkin, id get some other rims, cos these (just my oppinion), i dont thin go to well with the body style, try sumthing like this maybe??

It'll be a sad day when polished/plated Fuchs wheels don't go well with an early VW's body style. :roll: Those Pegasus wheels are much too 'Pimp My Ride'(just my opinion)

Sorry guys,
I am sticking with the fully polished /plated Fuchs.
If I had a 1:1 that is the wheel I would choose,unless I could get BRM's.
Call me old school,I can take it.LOL!
I hope to finish soon,I might cheat and black out the rear windows.

i like the wheels,i would just black wash the rescessed areas to make them stand out more...

I agree with that choice; against the dark body color, the fully bright ones are best.


The ones with the darkened recesses are pretty cool too, but they need to be against a lighter body color IMO.

Sweet vw Doug! cool color too thats gonna be sweet looking when its done! i like the rims on it now too!
