I'm about an hour south near Mankato. The RPM and MCCM clubs are around there though. Check out Hub Hobby as they have some RPM cars on display and I think the guys have some contact info there.

RPM (Racing Plastic Modelers) meets every third Saturday at 1:00. We are a club aimed more at the racing(any kind), high performance and sports car enthusiasts and model builders. We tolerate other types of model cars fairly well! Check out our website at Racing Plastic Models We are meeting this Saturday the 21 at the Edina Library on W. 50th St near Highway 100.
