Greenie--I would like to see the pics of your truck,
OK then, please note that this is a FULL TOTAL conversion from a W 900 1/16th scale Kenworth, to a W 925 S.A.R. Kenworth, which is a truck that is from Australia. Not too sure if you have ever heard of these trucks or not, so do a check on Hanks pictures, there's a few of them there.
The S.A.R. stands for Shortened - Australian - Right hand drive.
Had to convert EVERYTHING to right hand drive and so many other mods, it's hard to remember what I actually did to it, the only thing that I seem to remember is that I did not change 3 of the chassis cross members, the door handles, or the roof mounted clearance lights, they came straight outta-da-box, everything else was either changed, modified, hacked up, butchered or replaced.
The chassis in the kit was black, so everything not black, is changed, the cab was blue, so the same again, the sleeper cab roof was red, swiped from another kit as I needed the low line roof, so same again.
The rear suspension was a doozy, chopped it of and totally replaced it with a 6 rod, an exercise in total stupidity and so on, right thru the build.
I have been accused of NOT finishing it properly by a few modellers, as there are NO grease nipples anywhere. Ah well, s#!t happens, eh.
The dolly and low loader/trailer are total scratchbuilds, with these, I managed to get the working drawings from the manufacturer, so just scaled them down.
These first 2 links are to the building of it,

Enjoy the veiwing and if you have any questions, you know what to do
regards greenie
I have added a load to it now, eventually finished it as a complete model after 20 years, it's a BRUDER kids toy, an 1/16th scale excavator, looks rather neat sitting on the float all chained down, pics of that if requested.
