Well! my relentless search of the internet for information on a Buick V6 has paid off big time! what a pleasure it has been to read this fantastic thread. Great job on the Vega, the Rotary looks the goods and now I have all the reference material I need for my up comming V6 project. Now to acquire a couple of V6's. Unfortunately the Pontiac and Thunderbird v6's I have in my collection are not accurate enough for my project. Cant wait to get my V6's now.
Sweet build and glad my search brought me to this site. All signed up and ready to learn a bit more.

Wow, what a fabulous thread . . . I love it. Great job on that engine and on the body. Can't wait to see it done.

AWESOME!!! This is just amazing build, Buick's V6 engine fits perfectly to this one, detailing is very nice also. That color looks very good on Vega, and those black stripes are giving the final tough. Very nice build, that's a "must have" kit. Can't wait to see it finished! :D

WoW! Not sure how I missed this thread before, but glad I found it now.

What a cool alternative powerplant; excellent detailing to boot!

Nice.

Thank you guys but this build was completed over a year ago, I will try to resurrect the original post so that you may see it again. As a matter of fact, it was featured in the Model Cars magazine recently.

Well that turned out just peachy didn’t it.
A great finale to one of the most interesting & enjoyable threads I’ve read in a long while.

I’ve been tagging along from light to line, thanks for the ride Mr C.

Here are some comparisons when using the newly released Revell Nova kit, the engine seems more at home on this car!!!

I even compared it to the engine from my recently completed Starliner and look at how big
it is considering that the Starliner was a pretty big car!!!

B) This is one of the best project posts I've seen. I like the idea of the Wankel Rotary in the Vega.
Too bad Chevy didn't do that. Or they should have used the 151 Iron Duke engine to begin with.Looking forward to UG posts. Keep up the good work.

Like Cruz said before Randy, go to the previous page of this thread and you will see it finished, he completed this build about a year ago.

I know this is an old post, but if it hadn't shown up, I'd probably have never seen this gorgeous piece of workmanship without a search. I also happen to be an old Vega freak and that made reading the thread even more enjoyable.
Thanks Cruz!
