I can't guarantee that if we start with a Sedan Delivery, we will end with a Sedan Delivery. It could end up being an El Camino, or a wagon... It may not even remain the same year!

O.k. Sign up is over. For those that have signed up, please P.M. me, with 2 choices in areas of interest, so that I can get a mailing order figured out.

IE : chassis or interior , engine/ paint , interior and body, etc.
You don't have to be specific, I do not want to know your plans! For instance if you want to chop it just say body. If you want to add a tubbed frame say chassis.

Also we still need a name for the project.
Something like Parts box Shoe box, Junkyard Hawg, Salvaged Delivery, MCM Sedan Devilry Snowballs chance in MCM ... Suggestions? ( Please keep it clean!)

Yes, I hope it is anyway.. However I have/had not heard from all the people, and of the few that I did hear from, one of those dropped out.

I have stripped the 53. I have also purchased a new 54 Chevy panel. We have the option of using the new kit, or the "used" kit.

El Destructo Inc no longer wishes to participate in the build. I'm very sorry to say.

I wasn't going to do this, but I think that we could use a little direction, so here is what I would like the project to resemble once completed.

Sorry about not keeping up with this thread, Im still on board and sent you a PM stating it doesnt matter what part of the build Im assigned to. BUT if no one has clamed it I'll do the motor work or set up the suspension (front and rear) whatever works for the group....

I will say chopping channeling aint my thing and i'll leave those areas to the masters....

I have just heard back from Paul Canney. He has given his blessing for this project. <img src="http://www.modelcars...#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I have P.M.ed Gregg, and I am waiting to hear back from him, as to his ideas and wishes for the project.
In the mean time...

Jameston, at Scalefinishes.com has been kind enough to help out with the project, by adding a page to his web site, it is currently under construction...

I have stripped the re-builder, and here is how it now sits...

Hello gang! I'm the keeper of MCL's original Snowball. She is still under construction but getting close to the final assembly stages. I am out of town visiting for the holidays but will try and save this link as I'd like to follow the progress of this project.. Speaking for all the participants on the original Snowball project, I would have to say we are humbled to see such interest in starting a similar project. Stepping on toes? not at all!! enjoy yourselves and enjoy the teamwork from your fellow modelers.. The only thing I would offer up is that you stress very strict time limits for each builder and make sure every participant uses some type of tracking when shipping... Good luck guys.. it looks like I better get busy and finish the original Snowball project which sparked all the interest!!
