depending on the paint, soak it for a few hours and try to scrape the paint off with your finger nail.
if it comes off, grab an old toothbrush and go to town. if not soak for longer.
repeated "applications" may be necessary

To hard to dispose of afterwards.
the best in my opinion is 91% or higher rubbing alcohol
Also, Castrol Super Clean works great, the purple jug
ANd then there is the classic, Easy Off, the unscented yellow can, not lemon or others.
Always use caution when spraying Easy Off, the fumes are toxic.

I would not use brake fluid anymore
To hard to dispose of afterwards.
Not at all....take to your oil change place or your garage when you get your oil changed...They will recycle it for you!!

[size="5"][/sizeI accidentally fudged up painting my model car. The paint came out bumpy. I want to start over, but not sure on how to get that paint off the plastic without messing it up. Any ideas?
Hi I dont even use chemicals if the chrome is still glued on.I put in s plastice tub with hot soapy water and let sit fo 24 hours or so
and use my nails to scrap off. Also if no chrome is Not ON IT USE Purple CLEAN WILL DO a Great job.

This thing is so good that the paint just melted off the body, you can actually still see the shape of the car, it was a 1960 Starliner body that I messed up and started over!!!

BUT as someone else said, it IS toxic, so it's best to use it in a well ventilated area and to be safe, wear a mask.

You can also go to WalMart and purchase some Dawn Power Dissolver, this thing works great. I believe is about 2 dollars a bottle. Just dump the body in the dissolver and start out fresh with your paintjob!!!
