I found this old photo showing a Carson Top on a '61 Chevy. Judging by the pic, it is either a new Chevy, or close to it.
Why would someone do that? I thought Carson Tops were only on scale '49 Mercs

not sure whats worse, the Chevy with the wonky squared roof or those pointy hat Gnomes on the dash of the car the pic was taken from :)

Those gnomes are super-cool! The top, not so much. Talk about bulky-looking tops, here's the poster child. Maybe someone thought a '58 T-bird style roof would mate well with a '60 Chevy? Squared and rounded do not mix well, kiddies.
