Here is my completed Tamiya Mercedes SLR. I used the Crazy Modeler photoetched set, Scale Motorsport Carbon Fiber decals, and Cobra Colors Crystal Galaxite Black pearl paint. The clear coat is Urathane 2 part Clear. I have some fitting issues with getting the hood to close correctly so it will be displayed with the hood up. Also the doors are a PITA to prop open! Enough blabbing, here are the pictures. Constructive Criticism is always encouraged. Keep the negative to yourself...LOL

That is absolutely beautiful James! Your paintwork is flawless! No criticism from me.........
Now I gotta figure on coming up with the bucks for this model as it's one of the nicest I've seen from Tamiya in a while! 8)

absolutely stunning!!! i heard a rumor mercedes will do a convertible ,hope tamiya follows suit, shame they never did a convertible of the nissan 350z seemed like a natural.
