Chuck Most
Spent a little time at the junkyard today, and spotted a couple of old COE Transtars on the lot. Maybe this will make you want to dig out one of those old Ertl kits you have stashed away!

Chuck Most
Yeah, it is a touch depressing. If it makes you feel better, here's one from the same yard that is going to be sold whole- Who knows... maybe parts off those other two will help keep this one on the road! scummy
G,day , i drove one in the mid 70's and it was orange with a black stripe around it. It was powered by 8;71 detroit with 9 speed box and went like the clappers ! But on the old hihgways here the cab kept cracking around the radiater cap door , it also had steel door trims and cardboardy style roof lining which made it hot in summer and cold in winter . We were an overnighter company so every week night we flew between sydney - melbourne , i WAS a young bloke and was in love with it .Cheers mark .
