hi...im attempting to make a cowl hood for the 55 chevy project im working on...here is my ques...in case i total the hood where can i find a resin 55 chevy hood with a cowl...thanks...neal
ps i did find 1 on ebay but the cowl is way to big ...

Are you looking for a "stock height" cowl hood? Almost all aftermarket resin cowl induction hoods are taller than stock. If "stock" is what you are looking for, making your own is your best bet. Trash your hood and I bet someone here has one or two in the parts box to trade.

Race Motor Replicas carries 3 differant hoods for the AMT 55 Chevy two door sedan and Nomad....A 'low' cowl hood,about the height of a 69 Z/28 cowl; a taller cowl hood,but not as tall as the outlaw styles ( maybe 6" or so ); and a hood with the power bumps from the 67 Chevelle SS molded in.......Call Ron @ 814 337 4250 after noon any day..........PS--- RMR also has a chopped 55 Chevy 2 door sedan body available with the chrome removed,molded in bumpers,and re worked rear wheel well openings,fits the AMT kit.
