This is my latest finished build,,took about a year but I had to make some stuff from scratch.
Made the tail light and rear fender caps ,,modified the hood to the standard type, modded the front seats and cast the dash and arm rests from the Monogram '69 GTO kit. The chassis is from the AMT '69 Olds 442. Made the valve covers and intake system. Grill and all trim is from MCG.

And, NO it's not a "Canadian Chevelle"

A Beaumont is not a Canadian Chevelle , but a line of cars in addition to. You could buy Chevelles in Canada. Although Beaumonts resembled Pontiacs, they used Chevell bodies, Chevy engines, and pontiac interior trim like the dash. Steve could tell you more than I can as I dont know the minute details of these cars. I just know I like them and have a 68 Beaumont in the works. I just gotta get off my lazybutt.

Gregg K. 's got it pretty well right. Beaumont's were sold by G.M. Canada to fill a gap because we didn't have mid size Pontiacs until '69 or '70,,at least as far as I can peice together. Also even though they were sold through Pontiac/Buick dealers they wern't officially Pontiacs.[although it's very common that they'r refered to as such,,and I have a theory on that] 8)

Humm,,a story huh? Love to,,just wish I didn't hate paperwork so much.

Great looking car. I just saw one on a car show on Speed the other day. You put a lot of work in transforming that Chevelle.

...and I always thought Beaumont was just a smelly town in Texas on I-10!

Seriously, that is one beautiful build from very humble beginnings! thanks for sharing and Gregg is right!
