Hal Needham? Maybe some of the footage of the race in "Smokey and the Bandit 2"? Found some other great videos of Snowman's trailer while there, too! One to definitely check out is "Snowman's Trailer test run part 2" Hopefully this link will take you there!

Yup. This race took place the year following the filming of SATB 2. The do show footage of Kenny "Special 'K'" Farmer's bad wreck that was used in the movie.

Don't ask me how I came across that... :angry:

way to fire matt!!!! that is a very cool video block, lol why didnt you ever tell me about this?? smokey and the bandit is my favorite movie of all time, lol now im just gonna have to biuld me a truck and trailer and have my buddy biuld a trans am so we can make this race!! how cool is that, wow i like computors and the internet more and more, lol. thanks for sharing that with us

Hey Matt, this may be a dumb question but, you do realize that the SB trailer in that video is a replica of the movie trailer that was built just a few years ago, right?

Yep, I did, but it's still a cool video! :) The modern Pete gives it away, and I think somewhere in the related videos there was one showing the redo.
