Here some pictures of my Lassen Project Unimog 401S. The model was build in 2000/2001 as a entry for the B'ham Classic in 2001.

This kit from Lassen is the best ever produced truck model. The Buessing and Krupp from Revell/Germany are similar, but not the best!

I get to see the occasional 1:1 around here and I swear I'd buy one if I had the money.

Nice looking Uni you built. I got to operate one for a couple of years while working for a Mercedes dealer and they were awesome no matter what I was doing- plowing snow, using the endloader or the forklift- but I did have a much stronger left leg due to the clutch they out in there!

I have the Revell version with the snowplow that I want to build some day soon.

Great model, and by it's familiarity I think I looked at it back in Birmingham when you showed it. All the details work so well, you can stare at a model like this for a long time and keep finding more treasures 8)

What a great looking truck. The weathering and little display are superb. The Unimog has a good reputation for its ability to go just anywhere and do anything. Here in the UK they are very popular in Agriculture, for obvious reasons.

Great Work.

Best Wishes

Very cool Unimog. I like those tires.
