I got this little diecast from Irv Arter on Saturday. I think it's about 1 /27th scale. Here's the BEFORE picture.

Took it apart and filed away some metal to make the windshield more realistic in size. Primed with Duplicolor Sandable Primer. Paint is Duplicolor Orange Metalcast with Tamiya clear orange and then lots of Dup. Clear Lacquer. Decals are from One of the Revell chopper kits. Tailights added from a '32 Ford kit. Repainted the interior.
Probably, Irv will want it back now!

4 day project? For me that's gluing the engine halves together.

Looks like it was a lot of fun! Turned out pretty neat, too!

Maybe I can see it in person after my 6 hour drive to Greenbelt from Winston-Salem on the 20th...

It wasn't much of an idea. I took apart a diecast and repainted it. I'll give it back to Irv - I'm starting to run out of room.
