All of them are winners but.... That sweet little red stepside had me from the get-go! Very nicely done!!!! I'm going to make that one my new desktop background! :D :)

Wow, very nice work on all those trucks, Steve. I've been crazy about that GMC ever since you first posted it.

I don't think I've seen that stepside before, but I agree with everyone else: it's gorgeous. May I ask what paint you used on it?

I don't think I've seen that stepside before, but I agree with everyone else: it's gorgeous. May I ask what paint you used on it?


Thanks Monty, it's actually Duplicolor Metalcast clear red over a metallic pink I mixed up for a base color. The Metalcast is kinda tricky to use but seems to work fine when you mix it into thier clear first.

That stepside is really nice.

Where did the grill come from? The only stepside I know of is a GMC and the Chevy fleetside is a later model with a different style grill.

The grille is from Modelhaus. It's a copy of the promo grille although AMT did do Chevy pickup annuals each year from '67 or '68 to '72.

The rubber covers on the tailgate chains of the '32(?) got me, but all are exquisite!

Wow! Very nice trucks! The red Chevy is great, but the '32 (?) Ford is my favorite. Love the colors.
