Stripped the chrome from the grill, bumpers and hubcaps, which are from Revell's 56 Del Ray, painted them and mirrors to represent a basemodel truck, then opened the grille. Testors blue #1112, I think, and cleared with Future. Added a headliner. My reference material said it had a beige halo around the black headliner.

That sure came out great Lee, I really like the painted bumpers and grille, looks more like what was around back then!

Question- where did you get those rear tires, I have been looking for a set! ;)

Very nice job, Lee.

I'd like to know about the tires, too.

That is MR NUTCASE to you Lee ! :D :D :D

Charlie those tires are found in the Hogans' Heroes Jeep kit that was out several years ago. They are also available from The Modelhaus rather cheaply if you can't find the kit.

Again, nice truck there Lee, makes me want to finish one that I started several years ago.
