Hey fellas Im back I know its been a long time since my last build so lets get right to it LOL! I started with the Revelle Yenko 69 Nova. I always wanted to do a proper sleeper so lets see what we can make of this. I used the chassis from the Lincoln ProStreet Kit . The trick will be to get all the good stuff under the shell and still have it look like a beatup grocery getter. So join me as I travel down yet another road.

Had to make some modifications to the chassis because I want to use the full interior of the Nova...

here aluminum was added to the wheel wells

here you see that I am able to use the Nova backseat...

and heres a mockup of the prostreet tires sittin under the chassis and body

I wanted to put a few subtle dents in the body and couldnt figure out the best way to go about it so I came up with the idea to make aluminum dent plates. I formed the plates to be shaped like the body with a seam line in the middle then I simply smacked it with a tool and put a dent in it. Then all i had to do was cut the shape out in the body and glue the dent plate in place.

here I cut the plate from sheet aluminum (my wife took this pic she says it was pretty )

Are you going to cut channels in the floor for tucking the exhaust pipes out of sight?

Hey Romell,
This will be a cool one for sure! The engine your building for it from that mag. is sweet! I think you might be the first person to bondo a dent into a car! lol
Neet idea though, if the body work isnt perfect it would like bad body work before the dent happend (you know when not sanded smooth lol) or maybe rust bubbling.
Manny

I'm here and watching. Looking ace so far, love the idea of the mental engine in the dented car. Like a diamond in the rough. Love the way ur getting the dents. Never would of thought of that. Will this be as detailed as the chevelle? I'm like a adict getting his fix for the day. Uve done it again. ;)

Its not thick at all bro but I found that I get a better cut with the dremel than with snips or scissors (and the sparks are sooo pretty LOL!)
