Hello everyone,
its been awhile since Ive got to post on this dio since moving and setting everything back up again.

Well the Mustang is a replica of my 1:1 2000 Mustang GT im building (also topic on the forum). Will be in the shop getting painted next with the base coat then the flames will be air brushed on etc etc. all pics will be takin in the garage in progress I guess lol.


The other side of the shop is the 67 impala being restored frame up.



Im still working on the garage itself and will get dirty the more i get stuff done and built, lots more to go!

This is amazing any chance you could post up how you did the ceiling and everything. It's so realistic if it weren't for the little dudes in some of the pics nobody would know it wasn't real.

Hello there friend!! Gotta agree man it looks very real as far as how the light shows thru!!! Really cool way to cover your display area! It looks like yer buddy been sipping to much of grandpa's basement juice tho' Fell right over on his tusshhh!! lol If its cool I would like to implement this into the office area of the shop here!!!( back of my mind Im saying PLEASE LOL!!) Cant wait to see more!!

Craig; gotta tell you that the Chevelle up on the jackstands shots just look REAL! Your garage scene is very much realistic in almost every way. Awesome work; I will be looking to your work when I get ready to do my garage.

Craig, this is just fantastic! I love the look of the exposed light tubes. And I have to mimic Greg......How did you pull off the realistic fresh grinding on the Chevy's quarter panel??

thanks Russ,
I used K&S .005 aluminum sheet and cut to shape then just glued it on in some spots. I traced out the quarter panel on the aluminum then just cut it out.

Yes indeed it really does look real- it looks fantastic - really challenges the brain - hard to stop it from believeing it's real!

I should be back on this in a week or so. I just finished the air compressor, have to add lines etc. Going to finish up the interior walls this week. Will have pics soon!

Thought I would do a 572 block (like a crate type engine) to sit next to a car being built and the engine that is going in that car. I just used some black guitar wire for the studs. Still have to sand the tops of them and paint black. Little touch up work and add a few more things to the engine and should be done.
