That's why I'm using the re-released Ford F-250, it's plentiful again!

Let me know, but I have know clue what to use anyways but I'll think about it.

From my first post:

"Alright people, it's time to officially start this community build. It will run until February 28th, 2011."

Here's my project. '68 Plymouth Fury

Picked up the extra resin demo goodies a while back. I knew that some day, this would get the demo treatment. :)

Well for the guys who are not happy with this kit being demo'ed, here's the story of why. B)

I bought the first kit with a broken windshield. I had to buy another kit, just for the glass.

So this kit has no glass. There are other parts that's been robbed from the kit too. Each kit cost me $38.

I see this kit on ebay quite often. They are still between $35 and $45.

Like I say, "if you want one, get r done".

This sounds like fun. I'll join, and will let you know when I've chosen my kit.:)

I think I'll jump into this one too. I've got a Monogram 1957 Chevy gluebomb cast in red plastic that has Demo Derby written all over it!

Oohh.... This sounds really cool... I think I want in.... Let me see what I got in the stash first that I wanna sacrifice as a choice vehicle....

Went through the stash and found a bagged 69 Olds 442.... Missing a few pieces including the grill, so this is its destiny now to be a Derby car...

I just chalk it up to the sport  Demo and Monster trucks have destroyed cars that make me want to cry over the years but it's part of the sport. I'm just sayin you have a great example and in true life a big 4 door mopar would be a prime car for Demo. Perfect choice

Here is what mine looks like after the purple pond. This beater came from a box of models I bought for parts. In fact it was 82 cars for $10. All had way to much paint and glue. Normally my pond does just great but not on this one. More to come.... Posted Image Posted Image

Oh man, you got your work cut out for you... That looks like a big glue bomb that dropped in a box from ebay....
I had to keep a car in the pond once for almost a month and it was enamel paint that was just spray bombed on there in such a thick coat you couldnt even see the door lines or anything that resembled detail on it...

Brandon: yes that's allowed.
Ralph: yes it's builder's choice as I mentioned in my original post.

Anywho I decided to change vehicles. Found an old '64 Impala coupe that would be perfect. Gonna build my F-250 into something else. ;)
