I also drilled out the openings in the wheels, which was NOT fun, then painted them Tamiya Gloss Aluminum.
It blows my Bel Air out of the water, no pun intended!







I based it off this picture I was given on the Hobby Heaven board....

Some things are diffrent, but that is the picture I printed out and used as refrence.
I chose the 1972 Utah plates for two reasons: One is that they fit nicely in the opening and were not vanity plates, and two is that I used the rear window vents. They were only available on vinyl top cars from the factory, but there was a set on the aftermarket of the time that was nearly identical to the factory stock option. Since my rear window was scratched, I had to use them. Plus, they look good
