I have read your "allowables", ie plug wires and lowering. But I must ask, can we flock the carpet as long as it is done in the color in the instructions?
Also, will you be wanting to know what kit we plan to build?

After a little research and just recieving a couple of gasser kits in the mail, I have decided to change my build to the AMT 1957 Chev Corvette Gasser. This gasser kit gives some options and I figure why the heck waist a beautiful car like the Merc on box art. That's not a bad thing. It's just that I had big plans for the Merc.

i opened up the box today
so quick recap
we can ad paint, plugwires, change suspension what about BMF ?
and am i trying to build JUST by intstruction or also trying to replicate the box art ?

I think I am going to go with make it look like the box art. What you do for details is up to you.

the instructions tell me to paint the entire engine blue with the exception of the valley cover, that is alluminum
well, i checked the box and sure enough the engine in the car on the box has a BLUE valley cover
