A Pete car hauler and a KW car hauler I'll try to get some photos of them this week.
They are new kits.
Thanks Earl

By the way, everyone, concerning the pics of the kits or rebuilders, etc., if you are planning on customizing the kit like I did with my Ford LTL 9000 custom, you only have to post the pic of the base kit, not all the scratchbuilding stuff, too.

I just wanted to thank everyone else that I didn't quote a post from for the interest and welcome to the build! I look forward to seeing the pics of everyone's starting kits soon!
i'll get one tomorrow...i glued the chassis together and de-seamed the suspension parts on my ups truck tonight.
this will hopefully be a non-overcomplicationitis build that i'll finish quickly

I'm sorry I didn't read the rules fully about glueing the chassis together before pics were taken, but trust me this was all done last night, I just got the kit home on sunday. I bought the DD kit and I swapped the SD parts with a friend...who hadn't started on his either, please let me know if this is ok with you guys...as you can see in the box, there is nothing else started on...
Anyway this will be my version of a UPS truck, I'm also going to do a single headlight conversion and I've gotten in touch with Jamie to get some of his really nice 5 hole wheels. I'll either find a brown thats close to UPS brown or i'll take the easy route and order some from Scale Finishes.
Like I said, this will be a quickie build with detail...trying to keep the mods to a minimum since this is also being entered in my local club group build which ends in January

I’m thinking of something from the past like one of these two.

And if I have the time something from the present.

What do you think ?

Wonderful, Davey! Right now I have you in the list as a go for all three, if you don't want to do all three, just let me know which you aren't going build so I can edit the entry list.I was wondering if you had room for me with something European.

Great to have you, Dan. I just have one question, will the pumper be a load on the lowboy or a separate entry? No problem either way, I'm just trying to mark things as a load if that's what they will be built as.I might as well join this one, too! I'm already signed up for a couple other community builds, but this one allows enough time for even me!! LOL.
I'll do two:
Pete 359 tractor with Lowboy trailer.
ALF Eagle pumper.

Chris, just a word of advice here, have some small clamps and super glue on hand for the trailer. I'm not saying you will have the same problem, but my trailer that I'm building for another project had a slight warp in the roof. I used clamps to hold it down while the super glue set up.OK, I will be building an AMT Diamond Reo & AMT`s Livestock trailer. Picked them up from Ebay. Both open , complete & unstarted.
Both will be built basiclly box stock as I`m new to this.
Chris Downs

If you do happen to have the same issue, clamp the roof down in position, and at the back of the trailer where the roof and meet, there will (or at least should) be a small square at the end of the joint between the wall and roof. Put a few drops of thin super glue in that square area and hold the trailer at about a 45 degree angle, with the rear facing up. This will allow the super glue to run the entire length of the trailer side to roof joint. If you want, I'll take a pic of the area I'm talking about for you.
