I finished the chassis and the engine. I used some aftermarket parts on the engine.

Looking good! Where'd the decals come from? They really make it look better. :)

so about 2 minutes into the build i had to completly change directions

i screwed up the paint and there is NO way i can pull of the theme i had in mind so im going a 70s style pro-touring

it will have a upgraded interior with racing seats and gauges, aftermarket rims (lambos) and maybe a different engine (not sure on that)

here are some shots :)

got a little work done to the GTX over the weekend

BMFed, detailed, cleared and polished the body
afixed all for wheels and started work on the engine

here are some shots of where she sits
(should be able to put everything minus the engine together tomorrow after the glass dries :)

i wanted the engine to look new, but not factory, like it was rebuild by a speedshop, so i went with a nice racy (non factory) red

here she sits :
very little custom work on this build, just a quick build (when did 2 months become quick :D )

it has the lambo rims, custom decals and a set of parts box headers running through some custom pro street style pipes
(actually modified revell challenger units)

comments are always welcome

I might give this a crack as well. I'm currently building a 68 Charger with a viper engine. Trying my luck with building something in the pro-touring look. Well, that's the plan at the moment. Still thinking of colours etc.

Just a side note I'm still here, just waiting for a '71 Charger to show so I can stuff it's interior and Drivetrain in a old '74 Plymouth me and my dad built many moons ago that needs a serious rebuild.
