I figure i'd go on ahead and start one since Revell is coming out with the new funny car kits


Time period: December 31, 2010-Febuary 28, 2011




The Rules

1.The car's period must be from the 1960's and '70's.
2.It must be a car. NO drag trucks
3.The car can be a past build.
4.You can post your progress here or in it's own thread in the Drag Racing section of the fourm.


On January the 1st, 2012 Me and Phil Harkins will pick three models that will go on the the finals section in Under Glass. From there the whole board will get to vote on one final winner. There will not be any prizes for the winner just a congraduations from me and Phil.

This one was built using a modified frame from the Hippie Hemi and the overhead valve caddy mill from the Amt 49 ford kit.

The rear wheels are from the MPC Ice Cream truck and the tires from Morgan Automotive Detail.

I am a little confussed. The deadline for the completed build is Feb 28, but judging isn't until 2012?
