finally got to do a little work on the truck.I started working on the front and rear grilles the one on the top in the picture is the rear.I also sectioned the radiator out of the chevy truck to fit.




I also made a battery box in the fender well, And made my hood hinges out of brass, I will add inner struture to to hood.




And last I do not like the molded in front a arms on the 59 elco frame, so I use my dremel to cut away the unwanted plastic. I still have to clean up the front end but this is how it looks after a little tlc.

First off Hats off to ONE OUTSTANDING SCRATCHBUILD! The sectioning, molding, mixing and matching of everything is really coming together nicely! I myself am waiting for another spectacular update on this! Keep up the outstanding work.

I will use the 409 out of the elco,but it will have to be modified to look right.Or I might find a donner 409 that will work, either way it will be big block powered.

Update. reworked the front suspension a little and added motor mounts.Made frame horns longer.Added a little bracing to underside of hood


Fab up a hood latch and striker.
