I wanna do mine as a two wheel drive too, so I'll need something for the front suspension. I thought about trying to get ahold of a 73-87 Chevy/GMC van, but my luck I'd get one that's also 4x4.

well theres the 80's stepsides that are 2wd i see some every now and then on ebay which the frames will prolly work for both trucksLooks tasty.

thank you..and im building a whole new frame front to back out of styrene tubing and then making custom control arms and other stuff out of the round tubingGreat lookin' build so far.I've got one of these in the works as well.You could try scratchbuilding a frame out of styrene tube.

Eric I've build a few of those, they have a Solid I beam front suspension with leaf springs, good if you want to convert it to 4WD but not if you want 2WD and the rear differencial if a quick change unit.Ah, yeah, you're right- that one's 1/25. Thanks, didn't know that.
