Man... that sucks, it must have been plugged in for quite some time! I loved my lippo battery in my Drift car I had they are great much smaller and powerful and last a lot longer.

Joe is that Gold Leaf on the side of the truck? Can't tell...

Man Joe that truck looks outstanding! I do have to ask, where do you find room to store it, because by looking at the size and with the boom extended it looks huge (I assume that is a 6ft folding table it is sitting on)!

Hi Joe,
I worked at the Bradenton Florida Pierce Manf. Factory Referb Center a few years ago and watch a Bahamas islands Oshkosh ARFF stripped to the bare frame and rebuilt totally. The unit had been covered in salt water, what a mess! That thing is huge ! Your build brought back memories, the components are right on. Lots of thin sheet metal body panels ,piano hinges, and hydraulic lines. Their unit was repainted hi vis lime green. Looking forward to updates. Jon Davis

hey evrybody,   really sorry about leave of absense here.

i had huge mishap with the firetruck, i was installing the electronic for the boom and the electronic compartment started to have a serious melt down.  bottom line was i loss i all of it .  very expensive  booboo. it wiped out most of the lights too.   sooooo i had to tare it down and basically start over .    so while i have it apart i will do some upgrades, ive paint chassis, change the tires and rims, upgraded the servos ,added anothe axle etc.   ive also went from a 6x6x4 to and 8x8x6.

what was taking so long that i really had to get over the melt down. im sure we have all been there one time or another.   so enough of this and let get started
