Well, heres one of my builds. This is a Mack/Superior 100' mid-mount aerial. It is one of three identical trucks ordered by Toronto FD.

Tail light pods. I built one, and then cast the other. The lenses will get a chrome dress ring around them.

So, after spending a couple of hours under/in a Mack MR garbage truck over the weekend, I was able to come up with the major frame dimensions, and about 150 pics for refrence.

Here is the front frame crossmember/tow eye. This a bolt on component to the front of the frame on the 1:1!

Yes I got the AMT issue of it, I did have the hobby heaven one back in 90's when I was a teen.

Love that kit! Wish they'd bring it back out, even if it does have the wrong engine.

Well, 26 is on the long end of mid 20's, thats knocking on the door to 'late 20's'. :lol:

I went beater with that one. Next one I'm thinking of doing up as a period Michigan State Police mount.
