Jairus, the Python is the AMt Car Craft Dream Rod
I think the Python is closer to the Tiger Shark which is a modification of the Dream Rod kit. It was reissued about 5 years ago and can still be found for a reasonable price.

And someone could build the custom T-bird from the "Allison Thunderland" funnycar kit that was reissued a couple years ago. You'd need an interior and chassis but since it's a hotwheels custom it wouldn't have to be 100% stock Thunderbird. BUT Missing Link does the interior in resin if needed.

the passenger side came out allright (other then being upside down)
but the driver side was beyond repair so its going into the pond and im going to do this the other way around, first lay down the black and then try to decal the red

67 Dodge charger lol. I don't want to make it look like the hotwheels, but more like what hotwheels should have done.

ill talk to greg and see if we can at least keep you as a member (usually this type of thing is cause for suspension)
in the mean time i could use some advice on the pond
i had the car in both rubbing alcohol and easy off and it took off the top coat
now the red laquer and the silver (model masters laquer) are still on there strong as well as most of the primer
any suggestions on how to remove those?

If none of those work... lightly sand and prime and paint it again... or buy a new body?

im a bit skiddish to use dot 3 because last time i did use it it ended up melting the model, it literally looked like it got runned over by a monster truck
(maybe 8 months was too long? )
i did do some samding today (3200 wet) since i had to take a shower anyway and i couldnt even get through to the primer

dont sweat it....we're just riling on you
on a side note
i finally bit the bullet last night and dumped the GTX into some dot3
the container was too smal for the entire body so i only submerged the driver side in it
i went to check it when i woke up this morning and from under the snakeskinned paint/primer i was greated by some nice white styrene

always a good sign! you should see my F250. besides the body pannels, grille, interior and half the chassis it's mostly missing in the parts bin. coverred in hideous glue stains. to cover up the crappy bodywork i want to make a wild custom, combining body pannels from both the f 250 and a 53 vette
