Started tinkering with the 57 ford today. It is going to be an out of box build. So no add on stuff. That in itself should be a challenge!

Played a bit with my '48 today. Taped the frame and suspension together, I get a nose bleed just looking at this.

Thanks Nick, for colour I was thinking of something creamy and smoooooth.
I got some more done this weekend. I decided to go with the stock grill but I modified it a bit, got the frenched headlights started and changed the peak on the hood.


Rescribed the door lines and started doing the body work.


Mounted the '59 Caddy taillights and recessed the license plate.

so this 57 ford is really starting to get on my nerves. after multiple attempts to get things to fit right, the engine simply will not fit, even after hacking up the firewall. so it looks like this is going to be a curb side.

I'm really regretting chopping up the bed on my chevy ... I really needed a fresh box stock build to refresh me and get back In the game. I'm now working on my 85 svo instead but plan to work on the truck after I finish the car up.

Had to see it one colour, got a bit more bodywork to do and I'll be looking for a permanent colour.

Today I actually started finishing the body for the '58 Impala, though, my thoughts might disqualify it for this build, have some 60's Drag strip decals for it.

I need to touch up paint and clear coat my Hudson hornet the it's on to final assembly.

The 57 ford, however, is going to be without a motor. given the circumstances I will still try to make it a nice curbside.

Once the clear is dry and all done on the hornet I will get pics of it on here. I am really looking forward to final assembly on it!

Beautiful work getting done on this thread. Very nice. Ron, great body work on that Ford. The tail light cones are a nice addition.
