Some pics of my recently finished Bonneville. Started with an original AMT annual I got on ebay with about 8 coats of brush painted green.
The color ic Kandy blue over silver with PPG Concept 2020 Clear. The bumpers are rechromed and the wheels are Pegasus chrome Ts. The rest of it is prety much original AMT. Hope you like it.

Great save on this, it looks real sharp. I like the fact that you have the convertable boot and the up top. really great. the wheels are cool too.
Thanks for the pics. Ron

That's Contact brand shelf liner I got at Wal Mart. I put it on a piece of styrofoam filled poster board. Thanks for all the positive comments.

The "busy" background actually takes away from the model. After all, your purpose is to show us the model...not the background it's sitting on (unless the model is in a diorama setting).

You're much better off shooting your model on a simple, clean background...a light one for dark colored models and a dark one for light colored models.

Beautiful convertible- you don't see too many Ponchos, let alone the '61. Great build.
