I have to go along with the masses on this one, on close examination it appears to have some strange paint build-up alont the rear of the front fender, & the front of the door. Model!!

/addendum: still a model, die-cast, mis alignment on the doors could confuse some, but the window in the door seals it, the real car has a chrome outer frame, this one doesn't. ;)

Cool, Harry. You get me with the REAL ones, I don't know where you come up with them, but these models, with the way you can mess with the backgrounds an stuff, you can catch me occasionally! I got this one though.  B) :D

I've seen this one before, but even if I hadn't-----the windshield frame curvature and the grille teeth were dead giveaways for me.

Now if you've got $700 to spend......she's all yours! Mind you, there is no hardtop, and there's no folding top like Danbury's excellent 1/12 '56. That's a LOT of coin to be missing those two items! :)

Amen to that. This model isn't even worth half the asking price, IMO.

DM's '56, their '57 Bel Air and their classic Cadillac roadster, while half the size of this model, have twice the detail, if not more... and they cost a lot less.

Wow, it was really a model! I didn't think, that it would be that big, I was thinking just 1/24 or 1/25 and 1/16 scale... But great job bulding that, it looks very autentic, that's why I voted REAL! Better luck next time, I guess.
