I've just cleared my 1/24 glue kit body & although I say it myself it looks good with kit decals touched up with acrylic paint.
I'll give it time to gas out and then snap some pics.

Yes, the register on the door decals is off but I kind of like it like that - it looks like it's a deliberate highlight instead of an outline.
And just look at those fingerprints. That was with clean hands too. That's why I avoid black paint jobs.
To recap. Black is gloss Black enamel thinned with cheap GP thinners airbrushed on over matt black enamel undercoat. Then I put on the kit decals (loads of micro set & sol) and I filled in the gaps with a mix of Acrylic brush paint - Orange & Light Gull Grey. Mistakes due to my shaky hands were touched up with unthinned gloss Black enamel.
Clear is from a rattle can and says acrylic on the tin.
I've been holding off doing anything more in case I couldn't pull off a n acceptable paint job but I can press on...

Looks good Fred!
I have finally finished my Dual Bat Build...pictures of the completed "Dynamic Duo Duo" will be up shortly!

They are done! Here's the Under Glass post.

Here's the Photobucket build album. Thanks for looking!
I've got a few more Bat builds left to do, including two 1:24 glue kits and a Bat Boat...might need to take a break from the red pinstripes!!

Fantastic! Incredible!
Those look great but it is a bit disconcerting seeing 2 together. It's be a bit like Spartacus.
"I'm Batman".
"No, i'm Batman".
"I'm Batman and so's my wife..."
Derick - try paying Australian prices and then you'll worry. This (glue not deluxe) kit cost me $45 and that's about par for the course.

I just got the Moebius Batman figure set...and was thoroughly dissapointed. I'm currently cameraless but here's the descrip-
There are about 18 pieces in all. You get a standing Batman and a pod riding Batman. They explained to me some months ago that the licensing of Heath Ledger's image wasn't available and so he was dropped from the planned four figure set. As for why they dropped the other figure it's anyone's guess.
The detail is nice and crisp, and from test fitting they seem to go together well, but I still have to wonder why the heck they just didn't include a figure with the Batpod and one or two with the Tumbler. I personally felt a little ripped off over it. I paid $12 for this set of (closer to 1/20th scale) figures and to be honest, the quality is there, it's just not worth the MSRP considering what you're getting. Hopefully, the planned driver figure from the set will be included in the Tumbler kit...if it ever happens. ![]()

So Bruce has retired the Barris Batmobile preferring to use the Batpod as Gotham City roads dept are just not keeping up with the repairs and hitting all those potholes with the soft Lincoln springing is not doing his back any favours.
What to do with it?
Well he ships it off to his cousin Wayne Bruce in Melbourne who modifies it for local conditions.

Turbines are for helicopters and ships - what a man needs is a V8 so nasty they banned it.
And Bat computer? nah. Computers are for playing games and looking at naked chicks. All you need in the boot is the battery.
And of course we'll need to put the steering on the correct side, remove the Batphone to save weight and where would we be without an ashtray and a skull shift knob.

Wow, cool, Fred!! Love it!! Perfect "local content"!!

Wow, so many beautiful FMV's (flying mouse vehicles)! Big up to all Batman fans here!
I've bought Revell's Forever Batman Batmobile few weeks ago. This Batmobile is my favourite because of the long tail wing. I'm slowly working on it and as I shoot primer, kinda interesting "winter camo" appeared...

I was wondering also, I called him and left a message, but I know he was having some issues, not sure what though.

Anyone know what has become of Futurabat (Jacen)? I haven't seen him post lately. Hope all is okay.
We're all friends here, so i'll let you in on it. Jacen was set to marry my sister this June. Shortly before my back operation, she admitted to cheating on him. Since cheating was what ruined his first marriage, and the divorce was total hell on him, he kind of went off his nut a bit and left. Last I talked to him he was in Colorado but that was two and a half weeks ago. I couldn't guess where he is now.

Good to know Kevin, thanks for posting. Priorities change for awhile when something like that happens, I get it. But as long as he's taking care of himself I know he'll be back once he gets centered again. Might be a while but we're patient.

Just saw this today. Not sure if I like it, but there might be an idea or two hidden in there.
This is different, but kinda kool. Are there anymore pictures of this somewhere?

Thanks, Kevin...man, that's a tough go...hopefully he can get back to us soon.
Unfortunately Tony I don't think that will be the case. Once he has made a pat decision that's it. For an example, when Bob Crane was murdered he vowed to NEVER watch Hogan's Heroes again until his killer was found and brought to justice. To the best of my knowledge he has not seen an episode since 1974. He once told me years ago, if he decided to go away and never speak to me again I could take that to the bank. He has decided that he never wants to speak to my sister again and since she's my family and back here living with me again...I fear I will never see my best friend again.
