Here's some less fuzzy shots. Both are WIP, wich is why they are loosely assembled for the pics.

I'm just waiting for the PL kits to get into my area- then I'll worry about going crazy.

Just finished an 85 SVO Mustang...decided to look at the snap kit and get moving on my A100 Parachute Pickup Service van.

A question...what colour would the dual parachutes have been on the Batmobile? I'm considering adding some cargo to the back of the van.

Update on my BPPS Dodge A-100.
What does the van pickup?

How does Robin or Batman contact the BPPS? (Phone is from the AMT 63 Galaxie - wire is coiled plug wire)

Spaced the words so they line up with the panel lines like in the screen cap

Wahoo! Just inches from admitting to defeat by an inanimate object...I came back swinging! Finally got a workable mockup for the front suspension on my Batmobile replacement chassis.

Now to refine the parts and i'm in business. Now I gotta get the exhaust system to work.

My custom Batmobile is a long term project. I work on it in little fits and starts. Body work isn't the most enjoyable part of the hobby for me, so it's hard for me to stay interested when there is a lot of it ahead in the project.

I can sure understand that! For me, it's when somehing goes really wrong it sets me off and I have to walk away for awhile. Hence the long distance between the front and rear suspension!

.... so I don't want this limited to just the 1966 Batmobile. ALL Batmobiles are welcome in this thread, boats, cycles, planes and monster trucks. It just has to have a BAT connection. You can bring on your fantasy custom bat-vehicles too. Zingers, dragsters or even a Big Daddy BAT-Fink if you want.
.

WHAT IF... Batman owned a pickup... ;)

Reason I ask is I think I've zeroed in on an idea. And it isn't even based on the '66 Batmobile, but... well, why don't I just leave it at that?

During my sabbatical I had to convert the modelcave back into a bedroom. Once all the inlaws return to Chicago, I'll search the stash for an appropriate Batmobile.

Bit more progress...doors mounted, interior in, glass in, chassis in, wheels & tires done, almost there.
