As some of you know I am liquidating most of my model collection. I have listed 6 auctions under seller name modeladdict to see how it goes on emodelcars instead of ebay. If it goes well I will add more. If someone could look them over & see if I need to adjust anything please let me know. Also what would be the maximun number of kits you would bundle together for an auction? Thanks.

Hey Joe, just went and checked it out... Didn't see anything listed by you yet, I'll check again tomorrow and let you know...
I appreciate it. I am hoping my prices are fair. I think they are fine for complete non started kits. Once I start listing kits I have painted or glued engine halves together will be lower

While your prices may be good, it's a waste of your time to post there...
Of all the few kits listed, only one has a bid...
There is NOBODY shopping there...
I'm afraid e-bay is your best bet...
Bill...

I'm hoping that isn't the case. I am getting killed with ebay/paypal fees. We had a model club meeting that I did well at & I thank all my fellow members for their help again. What I really need to do is have someone come to my house & buy the bulk of the collection. The wife will be out of town for 10 days starting tomorrow afternoon so that will give me a good period of uninterupted time to get my hobby room straightened up & cataloged. I hate to go the route of a bulk sal as I'll lose my butt in the process but that is probably my best bet to get things cleared out in a timely fashion.
Sorry, but that is the case. eModelCars has 80 listings right now. eBay has 52,606. The very existence of eModelCars is just baffling to me.
Ebay fees may be higher, but 9% of something is better than "no sale". Plus, with ebay's worldwide audience, you're more likely to get a good price on an auction or a sale with "Buy It Now".

Thank you for the info. Went there and would only be interested in the '68 Charger but it's bundled with another kit that I have no interest in.
Hey Jim,
If the auction doesn't sell this relist (I doubt they will unfortunately) I will be figuring things out to try & move my models. I have this week to get the room into presentable & photographical condition so I will have a LOT more to get rid of. Maybe you'll see something besides the 68 you're interested in. Thanks

How about stacking up about 12 kits in a pic with the opportunity to select just specific kits and not the whole lot. Maybe give the people who have already shown an interest in your kits by sending a PM a couple of days prior to an official listing?
That was the plan. You will be one of the first I let know when I get more models cataloged
