How about that weird fog off the lake today Harry?

Yeah, what was the deal with that?? I seen them mention it on The Weather Channel, but didn't get to see the story about it.

This keeps up one more night, I'll be sleeping in my truck with the A/C on full blast, as my home unit isn't quite up to snuff!
So if you see a Ford F-250 idling somewhere at night, and there's a (possibly nude) guy sleeping on the seat, worry not, it will just be me!

Our pickup AC does not work-compressor bad and only one window works and so it sits just too hot to get into for anything.

Yeah, a bazillion degrees and they close the beaches because the lifeguards said they can't see the swimmers through the fog!

Like they say... It's not the heat... it's the humidity! Today was one of those days where you can literally sit still and not move a muscle... and start sweating! And tomorrow is supposed to be worse...

72 here at 50% humidity and a cool monsoon in the afternoon! And, I'm no where near the beach anymore and the people are a ton nicer to boot!

Been cooler than usual for July here in Phoenix. Low 100s and dry....had another haboob dust storm last night, freaky.. looking forward to taking a long weekend next week and going to the beach.

It's been in the 90s for days here, and no rain... my lawn is a lovely shade of tan! Tomorrow the forecast is 98.

When you factor in the humidity, the "heat index" (what it feels like) will be 110.

It's supposed to be summer here, but has been raining since last week, with temps in the high 60s, sometimes low 70s.....

Tell me about it Matt, its freaking freezing down here, about 12degrees Celsius and below 0 over night and humidity's always high here (damp hole).

The dew paoints here have been in the mid to upper 70's, approaching 80, with temps in the upper 90's. More like Vietnam than MN. 5 am Sunday it was 83 degrees here, and when I went out to get the paper, the pavement was actually damp from moisture in the air, not rain. I dont recall in 50 years it being this bad in MN.

Move on down to Florida, at least you can go into the water, or since you are going to be in the heat anyway, you might as well do a bit of fishing!

Kinda nice here in Florida, no hurricanes today....think I'll go to the beach. Honestly, after doing a tour in Viet Nam the summer time heat and humidity here doesn't seem bad at all. Try stompping around in the jungle with full gear...115 & up degrees (real temp. not heat index) in the shade, not to mention the humidity....now that's downright uncomfortable.

Been low 90s for the past couple of weeks, little bit of rain, low 90s for at least the next week and very little rain. The last couple of mornings were 65 and I almost needed to put on my flannel shirt.

I used to live in the Florida Keys (Marathon)...I remember the winters were great, a bit hot and humid in the summers. And then there was hurricane season...

Hey Don - the heat/humidity in the 'Nam might have been the reason for going from 196 lbs to 135 lbs in less than 8 months. Now it seems like the heat/humidity adds weight to my old body.

'Nam? You mean Cheltenham? That's not a place to go to, that's a place to run away from! You go from 196 Pounds to 135 Pounds in less than 8 minutes there if you don't watch out for pickpockets.
