See the calendar for info about this year's L.I.A.R.S. CHALLENGE to be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Freeport Recreation Center, 130 East Merrick Road, Freeport, NY 11520. You can help the L.I.A.R.S. Club celebrate their twentieth year as "Not Just Another Model Car Club". 24+ classes, seven special awards, People's Choice and Judges' Best In Show awards; more than 40 vendor tables, refreshments on site. I'll be there since I'm a LIARS member. I'm recovering from a car accident but should be able to hold up the entire day. The usual suspects from the area clubs will surely show up. We're doing an early set-up on Friday evening, so everything will be covered and we'll get home at a decent hour.
