Here's a locally owned, early Step Down Hudson (I'm guessing late 40's :huh: ) that I see every once in a while.

Both of these Hudsons belonged to the same owner.
The Maroon and Cream sedan had some mild custom changes made 16 years ago
The 48 Two door started life as a 4 door, and was finished about six years ago

This is cool stuff.... some of these cars are just begging to be hauled out of the muck and restored to operating condition....lets just hope that happens for most if not all of them!!!! They are piece of this countries history that should not die.....!!!!!

I'll add one thats a little different. This car ran a few years back in the Illinois area as a vintage dirt car. I can't remember the driver's name, but needless to say, he got "most popular car" at almost every race he entered. Hudson body, jig frame, small block Chevy.
