i just thought this would make an interesting thread-maybe even done before.what one thing should be omitted from every kit.i would like to see each and every kit come with separate exhaust.no molded in exhaust systems.what do you think?

Yes, definitely no molded in chassis details.

So many things have been rectified over the years (eg. bagged glass, chrome and tyres) but I also agree with Bill here. I'd add flash on chrome parts too.
(umm.. that is, I'd leave it off.. umm... you know what I mean).

Vinyl tires!

I hate 'em.

I know, I know, but I can make hard styrene tires look more realistic with paint than those rubbery things do.

Molded in engine-compartment details. They're usually a major pain to try and detail paint. Much better to have them be separate pieces.

Off of this, lack of engine compartment details.
