odd you should mention Deora, I used the frame & interior platform in this bash.

here are a few more new shots, it's in a rough condition due to being in a box for 3 or 4 house moves but someday it will arise better than before.

This is a wild arsed guess which is over 20 years old...
I have a very vague recollection that the tires were from a Lancia kit, probly Fujimi.
This project was started in the 80's.

Thanks Mike, it was mostly done over ten years ago then I got to looking at it and thought to myself that it needs...something else to make it look "finished".
So I started partial disassembly and that's where it stalled, and a few moves later some additional parts got knocked off.
I snapped the chassis back in and popped the wheels on so you guys could get an idea of it's potential.

This project started because I had run out of fresh kits and started drawing on the box art of a kit I had picked up fo a couple bucks on clearance at a drugstore, the rest is kitbash history.

It's been about three weeks since I worked on my Metropolitan , so yesterday I spent a couple of hours cleaning up the body . I reworked the wheel openings to be more uniform , and I replaced the side molding with a smaller size 1/2 round rod . Overall it looks a lot better now .
The interior , chassis , and engine are basically finished , so I'm getting ready for paint . Shouldn't be long now .

Bob, Evergreen makes some small half-round that works great for trim, I've used it a few times myself with great results!

Thanks Mike. I used .030" 1/2 round rod from Evergreen . The original molding was .060" , big difference !

Gremlin + one of those custom Renwal thingamajigs = ^^^^^ ??

A bustleback Gremlin would be rather classy, no?

Eh... not too keen on cutting into an old Renwal kit, but I do have an appropriate leading edge for something like this.

Emphasis on 'no'.

There are things being done to AMC bodies in here that shouldn't be mentioned in polite company!

And all are creative AND good looking!
