I can't recall if I said this elsewhere, but I think this model shows off all the best of what you do: originality of concept and clarity of vision, a tremendous sense of realism and what it takes to achieve it, and the skills to execute such detail. What a totally cool model! B) :)

That is one fine build. The best trophy out there is putting something on the table no one else brought. You nailed it bud!

Now that's some serious scratchbuilding! The top frame looks mighty nice-------if you were to lay cloth over that, the profile would be 'bout dead accurate. The inner structure for the doors and rear doglegs are dead on as well. ;)

Once again, I can't leave well enough alone. I called this one done some time ago, but sometimes the little things just keep itching at you. When I built this car, I had intended on scratch building the hydraulic mechanism for the top, but got in a rush to get it done and let that detail slip away. The other day I was in between model projects and decided to follow up on the details.

I started by adding some studs and nuts on the intake manifold for the missing carb. While on the engine I cleaned up a few weathering details. Here's the result

Here's the hydraulics; a scratch-built ram and pump and some mods to the top frame to attach the ram. Unfortunately, none of my pics show the pump. It's covered up by the hydraulic hoses. I also added the brace across the bottom of the tulip panel.

Talk about great interior details. The interior is empty, devoid of all the usual stuff, but you made it look truly eye-catching and interesting. Excellent.

I have seen this awesome machine in person several times, it is a SUPER nice build, I don't think you get enough credit for what you have done to achieve the final result!! the detail is amazing on this car, as all of your builds! this is nothing short of amazing work, as allways!! beautiful job my friend!!

Thanks for your interest, guys. Your comments are more that generous. Makes me want to get crack'n on my Model T.

Thanks a bunch my friend, but I'm still not going to buy you dinner.

By the way, did I mention that this car was built entirely in Billuminum? I probably shouldn't have covered it up in paint, but had to do something with all those little Testors bottles laying around. :)
