This second one might be easier to execute.

I don't know Virgil, you'd have to start with a '57 Chevy and lots of extra styrene ;)

How cool would it be to make a model of one of your illustrations? I say go for it!

Wow, I don't think I had seen that one, Chuck, or maybe you have so many builds now that it's hard to keep track. What a great job. Love all the details on it.

I've got a good idea what the van would need (just unwilling to cut up my last remaining A-Team van for it), but I've got no clue where to start on something that unrelated to a stock model body. That thing could end up like Chezoom, the vin number would be the only part left untouched!

Actually a Chezoom might not be a bad starting point for that custom hardtop.

I've got one of the Revell 1/12 '57 Chevy's here that would probably be a starting point......either that, or that early 60's AMT '57 Chevy that had all the cool period speed and kustom parts left out of it on the most recent reissue.........still kinda hacked off about that one!

Ok, still kinda away so here's a couple I knocked out tonight. For the first one, I've long considered the Lotus 7/Chaterham to be the British "Track-T". I would love to build Track-T someday using a relatively modern domestic turbo 4 cylinder ( I had wanted a 2.2/2.5 early T1, but could happily use a SRT 2.4 turbo motor too) and then set it up so it can actually turn well and make it a decent Track Day type car too.

The second one is a Track-T....ish roadster, more along the line of the Alumacoupe, but with the engine where it belongs.....between the driver and front axle centerline!

If you are feeling exceptionally brave, you might be able to use the R&R '48 4-door body to create that Hudson.

The Hudson was more of a "for the heck of it" sketch, but would work for insperation towards others thoug ;)
