nice...i started out as a hot rod then...concept, nowIve started on my plymouth today instead of using a V8 im going with a more traditonal style hot rod by using the kits flathead 6 and adding two carbs.

I started on the next step,sectioning and channeling. I found a while ago the best way to section was to shave some off the bottom, raise the wheelwells and replace the mouldings around the edges with evergreen 1/2 round plastic.

Did some more last night. I got the trim replaced and the interior roughed together to get the channel the right height. Still got a lot to do. I think I'm gonna go with flathead power, there's a real nice one in my '48.

Didn't get much done on mine, got the rear wheelwells in. Thought I'd mock up the suspension to see what this bad boy's gonna look like. I tacked the Hemi from the kit together just to see but I think I'm still doing the flatty.




I think I'm going to look for different wheels, these ones are a bit too wide.

I saw pictures of a deuce 5 window like this years ago and it got stuck in my head. Dark metallic green and lots of chrome.Wow thats looking really good. What are you thinking of for paint?
