Hi, All,,

Been working on this one lately. It's from R+R so there's lots of work to do on it tweeking trim, door lines and other assorted issues. :) It's almost ready for paint now though,,hopefully get some on it this weekend.

It's gonna be mild custom along the lines of one that was in "Rod and Custom" last year,,,it's gonna be painted the same too,,pearl green [close to VW "cyber green"] white top and woodgrain in the trim coves and tailgate.

Wow! What a cool model! 8)

I didn't know Ray made one of these..............I'm waiting for our local show in September (Super September Showdown) that Ray will be selling there. Maybe I'll snag one of these too!

He's also got a '58 Olds Fiesta Wagon that I'm dying to buy and build as a replica stock!

I talked to Ray on the phone the other day and he tells me that he's also gonna have a '58 Cadillac Coupe DeVille coming soon! :) Some of Ray's items are not for the faint of heart.......but with a little work (and patience) they can be made quite nice.

Bring on the '58's..................the more the merrier!

Here's a couple more progress pics. Missed a spot on the passenger side rear wheel opening or it would be in final coat of primer now . LOL

I think I can live with the door lines and window openings now. Tried a windshield from an AMT '58 Impala in it yesterday and it fit pretty good so I guess I'm gonna be pirating parts out of the Impala kit. :)
