Can't say I'm a dune buggy fanatic, but I do like the Manx, and ANYTHING related to a VW Beetle is fantastic with me. Bet on me buying a couple.

Similar if not exact. That's partially why I want one to build.

I had one back in the day, the model that is . I may buy one just for nostalga sake .............. I would sooner buy something more in line like a Oldsmobile , a Ford sedan and maybe a Chrysler ...................... Ed Shaver

Same here, I'm saving my green for the '50 Olds, '55 300, and the van kits!

I wanted one of these rascals for AGES, then I found the Revell Dunebuggy. Watta DRAG to find out it WASN'T a MANX kit, but a generic dunebuggy body. I found two built ups that I can use for ONE good one, but if them rascals is commin BACK, welp, they just became parts cars!!!! Gonna get one or two of the NEW ones!!!!

George!! The Revell is an EMPI Imp. It isn't generic at all. The Imp was quite cool.

One for me until I open it up to examine the parts. Looking for a good VW engine with Empi parts.
You will be disapointed, this kit has a chrome 36 HP with old school dual carbs, and the bag o snakes exaust.
