Sweet that is good to hear. I would really like to hear more about your 1:1 project. So the original owner wouldn't go for throwing in the 900+ cubic inch Pat Musi motor with the deal huh?

I will have to keep an eye out for possible updates on your major project. :)

bart, here's the deal. rich shainline put his '37 chevy pro mod up for sale. the guys at precision worked their butts off to come up with a win - win deal for rich and myself. i can't begin to thank rich, jim and doug for the effort they went through to make this deal happen. anyway, i'm going to be purchasing the car. i'm just finishing up all the loose ends on my deal to get the money together to buy it. the bank now officially is in the soul acquisition business.

as far as the 903 pat musi motor. i only wish i could afford it! hehe. the thing makes incredible power.

the car is going to be transformed into a (excuse me as i clear my throat, ahem) street car. it will live out the rest of it's life without the brutality of 3000h.p. spanking it.

here are some shots of the car:

i will be removing the aero nose and replacing it with a more stock looking unit.

Ok....it's all falling into perspective now..................... ;)

That "scale motor" you've been posting, is REALLY out of the 37, ain't it???

 No, seriously....you have no idea how much I have missed this stuff from you Dave.
I am so pleased to finally get back and see some truly amazing work being handed to us by one of the best guys out there. Thanks mate. :)

GREAT work securing your new "street car" too......that will be wild, and another amazing build to watch evolve. B)

Wow. Great car. Amazing how you also built all those other cars at the same scale, and all that work that was done on the buildings and ground. Amazing job there. Oh wait.......... that's a real car........... well based on your ability and skills it's hard to tell the difference now. ;-) :) :D

Dave I hope you didn't mind me prying into your personal business. I just saw the post in the other thread and thought others here would really like to see what you were working feverishly to acquire.

Again, I appreciate you sharing with us and can't wait to hear more some day.

What an awesome street machine it's going to be!
What are you going to do to the interior?
Also, it's going to look lost without huge rubber in the rear - what's planned?

thanks guy!

ted, as far as the interior goes it was originally built to be a pro street car. so, it already has provisions built in for twin recaro seats. as much of the c/f and race stuff as can, will remain. it will need a speedo oil pressure and a fuel gauge. very sparce on the interior.this car was originally built by vanishing point. some of you may have the build pics stored away. there have been a ton of upgrades done to it since it's original build.

as far as rear tires go, hoosier makes a set of 33 x 22.5 x 15 quick time pro (DOT tires) that will end up on the rear. they are a little smaller than the 34.5 x 17 16 on it now but, they will have to do.
